Cute. Although, the mane looks too "liney," horses in real life don't have manes and tails that look that liney, even when the manes and tails are messed up... The illusion on reflection needs to have been done better as well.
I reccommend going more subtle on the lines in the mane and tail, as well has her some how un-natural reflectiveness. Even the lollipop has un-natural reflectiveness. Some reflective properties is fine, as it does help show depth better, but this went overboard.
I had nothing better to do yesterday, So I counted the lines in the mane and tail...278, and I believe I counted many of them twice. I shouldn't be able to do that, unless I got a very up close and personal look...The number of lines I counted didn't affect anything, I did that because I was bored.
overall I give this 7/10, the cuteness factor is keeping it high. Good work, and as for you Luna, haz all the lollipops you want.
Well, it's hard to make everything realistic while drawing a cartoon character. I know that some things (like light and shadows) follow the basic rules of using colors and shouldn't be changed, but sometimes I just feel like they need to be broken. It leads me to draw unnecessary lines and other un-natural things. I'm aware of that but (in my opinion) it can make overall picture look better than it was before. Beside this I know that my drawing style isn't perfect, I'm still learning to advance my skill. I know that I make mistakes and not always see them in time to correct. Anyway thank you for your honest opinion, it's the kind that I don't usually see in comments on my artwork.
